Obviously Gears 5 has its amazing dynamic res option and reconstruction which makes everything super smooth and has a very finely tuned engine, but you can't really expect B元 to match up to what is essentially a flagship UE4 title eventhough it's not made by Epic anymore. That's decent performance really, I can probably increase my resolution if I turn down materials and volumetrics further. I am consistently getting 70-90FPS with fast moving vehicle sections dropping to 50s from time to time and some fights dropping to high 50s which I suspect is down to CPU.

I'm playing at 1080P on a GTX1080/i7 6700K and have everything turned to max except for volumetric which is set at high. This is why Gears 5 hides it and even when selecting "max" preset it doesn't turn it on and you have to do it separately.whereas in B元 selecting maximum will turn all the settings to max.

Full resolution volumetric is going to be taxing in any game especially if it scales with the internal resolution of the game. All I'm saying is that these things are not so binary. Doesn't mean Gears 5 is poorly optimised, nor does it mean B元 is better optimised.
